About Me
Once something is a passion the motivation is there. – Michael Shumacher
I love learning. I love teaching. I love tech.
From a young age I would spend countless hours in front of a computer screen writing simple programs and creating rudimentary websites. I was always fascinated with ability to make a computer do something with a few lines of code. As I got older the lack of mentors, role models and representation within the field of technology led me to focus elsewhere but luckily I found my way back and am happier than ever (you can read more about my coming to tech journey here).
I am passionate about technology and the positive impact it can have on our individual lives and on society as a whole. I love teaching and sharing my computer science knowledge and skills with anyone interested in learning especially youth and underrepresented communities in tech. I am currently completing my final year of studies at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, PE, Canada and will be graduating May 2019 with a BSc. Honours in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics and Co-operative Education Distinction.
Here you will be able to keep up with my current thoughts and projects. I’m alway interested in connecting and collaborating with like minded folks so please feel free to reach out and thanks for stopping by!
